Is Spelhouse ‘07 hosting a Thursday night event?

Yes, we are hosting a happy hour at Octopus Kitchen starting at 6pm - until. The event is free but RSVPs are required.

Is Spelhouse ‘07 hosting a Friday night event?

Yes, we are hosting another installment of the Reclamation at Republic Lounge from 9pm - 3am. Tickets can be purchased here.

Do I need to purchase the $30 Morehouse Tailgate Ticket?

Yes, if you plan to attend Morehouse Tailgate or visit the ‘07 tent, you must purchase this ticket. Tickets must be purchased through Morehouse and if you have not already purchased, you should do so immediately before the event sells out.

Is Spelman having a separate tailgate? Do I need a ticket for this?

There is a tailgate section on Spelman’s campus which requires the purchase of a $20 ticket. If you plan to access any parts of Spelman’s Campus on Saturday, you will need to purchase this ticket. We will not have any ‘07 events on Spelman’s campus on Saturday, so your purchase of this ticket is optional. Is there a separate ticket for the Spelhouse ‘07 tent, and if so, what does it include?

Yes, if you plan to eat and drink at the ‘07 tent, you will need a $50 ticket which includes open bar and food catered by Mr. Diddy’s. The ‘07 tent tickets must be purchased no later than 10/14/22. All ‘07 tent purchasers will receive a wristband (required for food and drink service) and a stadium cup which must be used for service at the bar.

How will I get my wristband and stadium cup (or my Morehouse wristband if I purchased a combo package)?

Ticketholders will receive an email closer to Homecoming with this information. We will ensure everyone has an opportunity to pick up these items in advance of Tailgate. 

Can I bring a backpack or purse to the tailgate? What is the clear bag rule?

Morehouse has implemented a clear bag rule for all tailgate attendees, whether or not you are attending the football game. Purses and bags are allowed to the extent they are clear and comply with the dimension rules. The clear bag policy and rules can be accessed here.

Will there be parking available at Tailgate?

The Colleges are recommending that all attendees rely on ridesharing (e.g,, Lyft, Uber, etc.) or take public transportation as parking will be extremely limited. There will be parking available at Morehouse for $20 and Morehouse School of Medicine for $30 (prices are subject to change and not set by the Class of 2007). Parking will not be available at Spelman. For those taking rideshares, the recommended pick up and drop off location is at the corner of Chapel Street and Westview Drive or the intersection of West End and Lowery Blvd.

If I’m no longer able to make Tailgate, can I get a refund on my ‘07 Tent Ticket?

As indicated at the time of purchase, all sales are final and no refunds.

Where can I get tickets for the Spelhouse ‘07 events on Thursday, Friday and Saturday?

Tickets and RSVPs for all official Spelhouse ‘07 events are available now on the class website.

Can I invite friends to the events that aren’t ‘07 or didn’t go to Spelhouse?

OF COURSE! This is our first official homecoming since 2019 and we want to see everybody! Invite your crew and let’s kick it.

What is our Class Giving Goal for Homecoming?

Both classes have a goal of raising $15K for their respective institutions in honor of our 15 Year! Please donate on the college’s website and ensure your donation is designated for the Class of 2007.
